Classic Rosemary Easter Ham

A delicious and aromatic ham recipe infused with rosemary, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8–10 pounds)
  • 1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and apple cider vinegar to create a glaze.
  3. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  4. Rub the chopped rosemary all over the ham, then apply the glaze evenly over the surface.
  5. Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for about 15-18 minutes per pound, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  8. Once done, let the ham rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add cloves or pineapple slices to the ham.
  • Ensure the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C) before serving.
  • This ham can be served hot or cold, making it versatile for leftovers.
