Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the flank steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  5. While the steak is resting, toast the baguette slices on the grill until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the crostini by placing a slice of steak on each toasted baguette piece.
  7. Top with arugula, crumbled blue cheese, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños on top.
  • Can substitute flank steak with sirloin or ribeye.
  • Make sure to let the steak rest to retain its juices.
